Windows NT/2000/ME

From the START menu, select RUN and enter "ipconfig/all" at the command prompt

Windows XP/2000/ Vista / 7

From the menu "Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information" it opens a window, where you click on "Components -> Network -> Adapter(or Card) " "Mac Address" is the host id.
